Research assistance, not financial advice — Steravindal
Why we built an AI research assistant for the private investor who thinks for themselves.

The problem we set out to solve
Private investors today have access to more information than any previous generation. Company filings, analyst commentary, sector reports, earnings calls, macroeconomic data — it is all available, much of it free. And yet the experience of trying to form a clear, well-reasoned view from all of that material remains genuinely difficult. The problem is not a lack of information. It is the absence of a structured way to work through it.
Most investors end up relying on a combination of instinct, habit, and whatever they happened to read most recently. That is not a criticism — it is simply what happens when the tools available do not match the task. this research tool was built to change that. We wanted to create something that would help an ordinary private investor think more carefully, examine their assumptions more honestly, and arrive at conclusions they could actually defend.
What we believe about good investment research
We believe that the quality of a decision is determined largely by the quality of the thinking that precedes it. That means asking better questions, not just gathering more data. It means being willing to hold two competing scenarios in view simultaneously rather than collapsing prematurely into a single view. It means making your assumptions explicit so that you can test them, rather than leaving them buried where they cannot be examined.
We also believe that independence matters. The investor who understands why they hold a view is in a fundamentally stronger position than one who is acting on someone else's conclusion. this research tool is designed to support that independence — not to replace your judgement with ours, but to give your judgement a more rigorous foundation to work from.
Research assistance, not financial advice
It is important to be clear about what this research tool is and is not. It is an AI research assistant. It helps you understand information, organise your thinking, compare scenarios, and notice areas that may be worth investigating further. It does not make investment recommendations, suggest specific assets, or provide personalised financial advice. Those are roles for qualified financial advisers, and we would always encourage investors to seek professional guidance when they need it.
What this research tool offers is something different and complementary: a space to think more carefully before you act. Whether you are a relatively new investor building your first research habits or an experienced one looking to stress-test a view you have held for some time, this research tool is built to be useful at every stage of that process.
